The Eastern Iowa Airport Wind Speed Challenge

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. The Eastern Iowa Airport Wind Speed Challenge (the “Promotion") begins at Noon Central Time ("CT") on Aug. 27, 2008 and ends at 11:00 AM CT on on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008.

2. ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia residing in the 50 United States excluding Puerto Rico and all other territories, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of Promotion registration. Military personnel and their dependents who are legal residents of the United States are eligible to participate regardless of their assignment. Failure to comply, by providing incorrect information, will invalidate your Promotion entry, which will result in the loss of potential prize winning entry. Employees, officers and directors of The Eastern Iowa Airport (“Sponsor”), their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, their immediate families (parent, child, sibling & spouse) and persons living in the same households as such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. By entering the Promotion, participants agree to release, indemnify, discharge and hold harmless The Eastern Iowa Airport, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any and all damages whether direct or indirect, which may be due to or arise out of participation in the Promotion or any portion thereof, or the acceptance, use/misuse or possession of prizes. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules. Void where prohibited by law, rule or regulation. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

3. HOW TO PLAY: No purchase necessary to play. To enter the Promotion, go to here and complete the official entry. You must enter your true and correct information in all required fields and then hit the “Submit” button. You may enter one time per drawing period. If you win the drawing, you may not enter again during the 2007-2008 football season.

Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of any potential winner, the potential winner will be deemed to be the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. The authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. A potential winner must provide Sponsor with satisfactory proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the potentially winning Promotion entry. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, illegible or corrupted are void and will not be accepted. By entering the Promotion, entrant recognizes and agrees to all of the terms and conditions of the sponsor's Privacy Policy, which is available at www.eiairport.org/about/privacy.shtml

4. CONTEST PRIZE: A randomized drawing will be held following each home football game of the University of Iowa Hawkeye football team to select One (1) winner from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Promotion Prize (2): Two, round-trip airline tickets on Allegiant Air. The tickets are good for any non-stop destination Allegiant flies out of Cedar Rapids, those cities are: Las Vegas, Orlando and Phoenix-Mesa.to attend a home game of the University of Iowa Basketball team.

Airfare is based on availability and may be subject to certain blackout dates. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights. Prize is non-transferable. Insurance, taxes, all expenses and incidentals not mentioned above and required travel documents are the responsibility of the winner and winner’s travel guest. No substitution or transfer of prize or cash redemption is permitted. However Allegiant may, at its option, substitute another prize of equal or greater value, or the cash value of the above prize, if the stated prize is unavailable.

To Book: Reservations must be made for travel by calling Allegiant Air at 702-505-8888. Please have voucher Control Number and Booking Code available when calling for a seat reservation. Travel must be completed on or before the expiration date and will not be extended. Normal cancellation policies apply. Seat reservations are not valid without the presentation of voucher. Voucher must be surrendered at flight check-in. Check-in at least 90 minutes before scheduled departure time.

Changes/Cancellation: Changes to the reservation will result in a change fee of $50.00 each segment. Allegiant reserves the right to cancel, alter routes and times or suspend air service without notice. All changes must be made through Allegiant Air’s reservation center at 702-505-8888.

2. Hotel, transportation and baggage fees are not included.

*Note: Allegiant Air must be notified of any changes, alterations or cancellations related to this promotion. Allegiant Air reserves the right to approve all changes or alterations.
Travel vouchers that become a part of this promotion may not be transferred or used with any other promotion without the exclusive approval of Allegiant Air.

Winner will be notified the Monday following each home game. The tickets will be emailed or mailed to the winner.

5. GENERAL RELEASE: By entering the Promotion, you release Sponsor, participating sponsors and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agencies (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use the prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.

6. AFFIDAVIT AND RELEASE: As a condition of being awarded any prize, the winner and travel companion may be required to execute and deliver to Sponsor a signed affidavit of eligibility and acceptance of these Official Rules and release of liability.

Use of Likeness: By accepting prize, winner consents to use of their name, photograph and/or likeness for advertising/publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

7. PRIZE AWARDING: Prize will only be awarded upon Potential Winners' verification and final approval by Sponsor. No prize substitution, cash equivalent of prizes, transfer or assignment of prize permitted, except by Sponsor in its sole discretion, due to prize unavailability for any reason, and only then for a prize of equal or greater value. The potential winning entrant will receive prize notification via electronic mail and/or phone call. If the potential winning entrant of the prize cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize, if the Prize Notification is returned undeliverable, or if the potential winner otherwise fails to fully comply with these official rules, he/she will forfeit that prize and the prize will be awarded to an alternate potential winner. Prize winner grants Sponsor the right to use and publish winner's proper name and State of residence online in connection with the Promotion. All information collected will be treated in a manner consistent with Sponsor's privacy policy. In the event of a dispute, an entry will be deemed to have been made by the authorized holder of the email account at the time the entry was made. All decisions of the judges shall be binding and final.

8. DISQUALIFICATION: Sponsor and the Sponsor's agency are not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer or telephone transmissions or technical failure, jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions, for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, howsoever caused, or other error of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic. Entrants found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Promotion will be disqualified. If disqualified for any of the above abuses, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate entrant's eligibility to participate in the Promotion. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be in violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion if any fraud, virus or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right to award only the prize stated in the Official Rules. In no event will more prizes be awarded than that listed in Rule #4.

9. TAX INFORMATION: All federal, state, local, and other taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the applicable winner.

10. GENERAL INFORMATION: This Promotion is conducted in English (which will be given its everyday ordinary meaning), and any and all disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa without regard for conflict of laws principles.
